I normally don’t bother with a recap of a Wedding Day, however- this day was so perfect. Their day wasn’t about the elaborate invitation suite or florals draped everywhere. In fact, the whole wedding was planned in six weeks! (Price serves in the National Guard and was deployed. He returned home literally ONE WEEK prior to the Wedding Day!) Their Wedding Day was genuinely about celebrating the marriage between two people. I can’t describe in words the pure love Taylor and Price have for each other, but it radiates through these photos. The smiles. The tears. The laughs- all of the emotions were raw and so Beautiful. It was an important reminder for me as a photographer, to stop running down a mental Wedding Shot List, and capture the REAL love story of the day.
Reading vows at the first look is EVERYTHING! I loved that Taylor and Price had these adorable vow books! I used a zoom lens to give them privacy; but in a big field, sound echoes. I couldn’t hear every word, but the words I COULD hear…. OMG. They were beautiful. I am pretty sure I cried more than either of them. Every photo captured during this first look is completely authentic. Every hug, every kiss, every emotion- REAL. By far, these fifteen minutes were my favorite memories of their whole day.
